Update 5/2/22 (see bottom of page for changes)

This is a demake and reinterpretation of the game Uru. It contains three worlds inspired by Uru, but reinterpreted to fit the Bitsy engine. If you are a fan of Myst, Riven, or any other puzzle game, then I think you'll enjoy it.

Because this was made in Bitsy, there is no sound, no music, and most importantly no saves. I'm sorry about that. This game was originally supposed to be so short that you wouldn't need the ability to save. The game wound up being bigger than I planned (Bitsy isn't really built for making games like this, either). Maybe you don't need saves to beat it (I have no gauge on how long it takes to finish), but I still feel bad for not having any.

The game is non-linear so even if you lose "progress" by closing the window it's not a huge deal. (Knowing how all the puzzles work, I can complete everything in about 10-15 minutes so I'm randomly going to multiply that by 4 and say it'll take about 40-60 minutes for someone to complete it in one sitting.)

Anyway, even though the game wound up being a real pain to finish, I'm really proud of some of the puzzles and stories here, and I think it was worth it. Btw, I am not a visual artist; I don't know how shapes or colors work, so if stuff looks bad, I'm sorry for that too!

This is charming!

The note at the end of faux-Teledahn accidentally called it D’ni rather than Deni, btw.

Thank you! I'm glad you found it charming.

As for last part in the fungal age, it's not actually a mistake. Since it was an Easter egg I decided to break the fourth wall a bit and poke fun at the real Uru, that's why I wrote "D'ni" in that spot. There's so many times in Uru where there's a ladder that doesn't look like a ladder that it became a running joke with me and my friends. I thought it would be fun to include our joke in my own version of the game. (Btw, don't know if you're aware, but you can play Uru for free and multiplayer these days. The game is maintained by fans and periodically they add fan-made Ages.)
